Why we build on Claude

Choosing a foundational technology is the closest thing our craft has to choosing a home. You will spend years on its ground, build your reputation on its behavior, and inherit both its strengths and its faults. So when the ten of us chose to stand on Anthropic and Claude from the alliance's first days, it was not a logo decision.

The first reason is philosophical, and we hold it without irony: Anthropic treats safety as an engineering discipline rather than a press release. For an alliance whose charter starts with the human role, building on a lab that takes alignment seriously is simple coherence. The systems we ship carry our signature; we want them standing on ground that shares our idea of what must never break.

The second reason is severely practical: Claude Code changed our daily work. Each of us has decades of habits — architecture reviews, delivery pipelines, code we trust because we wrote it slowly. Agentic engineering with Claude Code did not replace those habits; it compressed them. What took a team a sprint takes a senior builder with a well-instrumented agent a day, without surrendering the review discipline that makes the result defensible. That compression is the economic engine of the alliance: senior judgment, agentic speed, controlled cost.

The third reason is the road ahead. We are a registered member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network, and every member of the alliance is currently working through their certification. We chose the path where our expertise is verified, not self-declared — it is slower, and it is worth it.

None of this makes us blind. When another tool serves a client better, we say so — independence is in the charter too. But when the work must be reliable, safe, and worthy of the people it serves, we know where we stand: on the ground we chose deliberately, from the first day.
