Why we are founding LIFE Alliance
Every one of us has spent years — for some, decades — building systems for enterprises: cloud platforms, data foundations, identity programs, products. And every one of us, somewhere along the way, reached the same conclusion: the agentic era is not a feature wave. It changes what a team can be, what a mission can cost, and what a single senior professional armed with the right tools can deliver.
We could have each ridden that wave alone. Independent practices are comfortable. But the work we want to do — reliable agentic systems in production, with guardrails, at controlled cost, in more than one country — is bigger than any one of us. So we chose the other path: an alliance.
An alliance is not a firm. Nobody here bills hours to justify a pyramid. Each member keeps their own practice and their own name; what we share is a standard, a charter each of us signs, and a way of working where the person who scopes your mission is the person who delivers it.
We also chose our technological ground early. We are a registered member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network, and Claude Code sits at the heart of how we design, build and operate agentic systems. Not because partnerships look good on a page — but because when systems must be reliable, safe and worthy of the people they serve, you build on the technology you actually trust. Every member is currently working toward certification.
Today the map shows two lights: Montréal and Paris. Ten founding members, different crafts — architecture, AI engineering, product, ESG, program leadership, security. Tomorrow the map will show more; the alliance grows by affinity, not headcount.
If you read this and something resonates — a mission, a question, or the feeling that your light belongs on this map — send a signal. We answer within two business days.
